Nice write up. But I have earlier stumbled on a copy of this by a blogger. He has posted the same on his blog and looks like an exact copy of your work. You can report him if you want to. Here is the link. http://www.teesmaarkhan.com/2008/07/boston-security-community.html

Best Regards

Stacy,

I would like to add the Boston Chapter of the National Information Security Group (NAISG, http://www.naisg.org) to your list of security groups.

I started NAISG as an information security user group in the Boston area in 2002. Since then, we grew the group to more than 1,000 members. We have also expanded into a multi-chapter organization. As of today, we have active chapters in Boston, New York City, Connecticut River Valley, Washington, D.C. and Seattle. We have also just launched chapters in Dallas, Pittsburgh, Atlanta and Bangalore India; and have agreements out to launch in Oxford (England), London (England), Athens (Greece), Bucharest (Romania), Istanbul (Turkey), Taipei (Taiwan), Alberta (Canada), Delhi (India), Jacksonville (Florida) and Chicago (Illinois).

Our group is free to ALL members. No fees or dues...ever! The focus is always enterprise security, and presenters are under marching orders not to give sales presentations. We focus on the issues and nothing but the issues!!!

Check us out.
